This thing is a beast. It’s something I’ve needed and wanted for a long time, and I finally have it!

For some reason I can never just read the Bible. My brain requires me to have background, explanation, and Bible all available at once so that I can fully understand what I’m reading. Until now, that’s been pretty difficult.

This Bible my grandparents paid for is a study Bible, meaning it has all those things I’ve needed to really read the Word. It literally breaks down every verse or paragraph and builds on it. Amazing.

For those interested it’s called the Ryrie Study Bible Expanded Edition and is an NIV with red letter translation. Hardcore and awesome. I feel kind of nerdy being this excited, but honestly what greater excitement can anyone have than to understand the very Word of God? Love it.
